1980 Honda CX500 Standard
I have done almost all the possible service and repair works to my cx. It has proved to be one of the best motorcycles ever made. There is 37 tkm in the odo which naturally cannot be said for sure to be truth but all the indications are present though. It always amazes me while riding. The engine takes happily revs pretty high but on the other hand you can ride the 5th gear on at 60 km/h easily. Very good bike for all kind of riding. And the best of all if only cx is in good working condition the fuel consumption can be as low as 4 liters / 100 km. Even lower on peaceful riding..
My elder son bought my CX, so he will be the rider. At least, I can be sure he has a very good and reliable motorbike and naturally powered by my FinnBoxG47. And we made a deal this bike won't ever be converted to a cafe racer! :) I have also a privilege to buy it back. Long live the Honda CX500!
